Boat and bicycle rentals
Take tours on the fjord (boats and outboards can be rented and fishing equipment can be borrowed) or a road trip through the beautiful and changing scenery. Bicycles can also be rented.

Many hiking opportunities on foot and by car along the fjord, the mountains and valleys, where marked trails lead into the mighty mountains in Breheimen and Jotunheimen.
Winter and Easter holiday in collaboration with Sogn Ski Centre. The ski center is located 7 minutes by car from Marifjøra. See more at www.sognskisenter.no

FjordSeal is only 500 meters from the cottages.
Urnes stave church was in 1979 listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List, and is a popular tourist attraction. Read more about opening hours here. The church lies at Urnes (45 km drive) where you take the ferry from Solvorn to Urnes.
New swimming complex in Gaupne (Lustrabadet) is located only 2 min drive from the cottages.
Jostedalen Breførar Lag offers tours on Europe's biggest continental glacier, Jostedalsbreen. Bresenteret at Nigardsbreen is a 30 minutes drive from Marifjøra.
In Jostedalen you can also find ICETROLL which offers kayak trips, and tours on the glacier. Leirdalen Bre og Juv offers glacier hiking and Juving.
Molden gives you perhaps the best view in the whole municiplaity of Luster. It offers you panoramic views of the fjord, Breheimen and Jotunhemen. A steep marked path goes from Marifjøra to Molden, or you can walk from Mollandsmarki, which is an easier hike.
